Qualifications

I am a qualified translator with an MA in Translating (with distinction) from the University of Salford. My first degree was in International Business and Modern Languages.

Experience

I have several years' experience as an in-house translator for Shell, FT.com and Computec Media UK and previously worked as a translation checker for RWS Translations.

Before training as a translator I spent five years working for a German international development organization in French-speaking West Africa.

As a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting I respect the ITI Code of Professional Conduct. I also hold professional indemnity insurance.
